PSACC is the backbone, not a variable. It runs inside PS 107 from 2:35 to 5:55, and it absorbs every gap: the walk from the classroom, the wait before a 3:30 class, and any day with nothing else on. Its 3+ day tier is a flat $45/month (10 payments, September–June), so five days costs the same as three — which is why it's simply counted as a fixed cost here rather than something to optimise.
The grey dashed cards are PSACC's own classes — now the real 2026-27 roster (pulled from PSACC's 6crickets registration page, filtered to Grade K). Only seven of PSACC's specialty classes admit a kindergartner : Story Play, Social Skills, Llamaste Yoga, Green Magic Workshop, Capoeira, Rolie Polie Music and Nature Magic — while chess, robotics, Scratch, French, Spanish and every team sport still start at 1st grade. Green Magic Workshop is new this year; the rest have run two-plus years. Most run two time slots (3:00 and 3:55) — the card shows the early one. The days did shuffle from last year (Story Play → Monday, Nature Magic → Friday, Yoga → Tuesday, Capoeira → Wednesday), so this is the list to trust.
And they're a lottery, not a choice. You rank a first and second preference, pay the $125, and find out roughly two weeks later. They cost nothing and need no pickup — but you can't count on getting one, and a child can't leave a specialty class early.
What happens if the lottery gives you nothing is the whole point. The fallback is "free play", which in practice means outside with no playground equipment, no structure, a few balls, and most kids standing around talking or sitting. That is not a soft landing — it's the real downside, and it's why the lottery has to be planned against rather than counted on. The timing makes it worse: outside classes fill up weeks before the lottery result lands, so you'll be booking them blind. The paid outside class is the part of the week you can actually guarantee.
What can actually break a class: it doesn't pick up from PS 107, it ends before you're free at 5:00, or it won't take a kindergartner. Nothing else.
One semester. Class prices are for the fall session; PSACC is shown as five of its ten monthly payments. Spring repeats the PSACC tuition (the registration is one-time) plus whatever classes you choose then.
Not here: weekend classes, anything that won't take a K kid, anything with no PS 107 pickup. Brooklyn Game Lab is out — after-school is ages 7–14. Prices are 2025-26 figures where 2026-27 isn't published.
